Move First, Sell Later

Here's a quick moving tip for the day. If you're working with an older adult that has been in their home for a long time, it may be there are a list of things that need to be done to the house prior to listing it for sale. It's not uncommon for the house to need paint, a change of wallpaper and/or new carpet. 

If it's at all financially possible, make the move happen first.  That way the house can be de-cluttered, painted and staged without any hassle at all to the older adult.
